My experience working at CCO. A letter from a staff member to you.

Dearest Family:

A brother here at the house, sometime ago, asked me to write about my experience working at CCO.  This is but a short version of what working at CCO has been for me.
I say short testimony, because the experiences have been just too many for me to count.

In the Book of Luke 13 : 6-9 reads as follows;

” 6) Then He told this parable: A man had a fig-tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any.  7)  So he said to the man who took care of the vineyeard, ‘ For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig-tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’  8, ‘Sir’ The man replied ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it.  9) if it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’

The blessing has been seing how God has sent our “clients” to me holding the shovel and the fertilizer in their hands to fertilize that tree, Me, that is yet to bear any fruit. It would be very selfrighteous  of me to see it any other way. It has been their consistent fertilizing on my life that has taugh me to pay better attention to those who we serve.  I’ve found out that they are the best teachers!  I am not a very good writer, but humbly, wanted to share this with you.

God bless you,
hector
