Cornerstone Community Outreach is grateful to the Women’s Ministries of the Evangelical Covenant Church Central Conference for their Dressers for Dignity project. The 16 dressers donated will be used by mothers with children who reside at our shelter. The dressers are in excellent condition and will be a blessing to our residents for years to come!

Knitted Hats bringing warmth

Thank you to a wonderful woman from Kansas who sent a big box of homemade knitted hats to Cornerstone Community Outreach.

They are being given out to the individuals and families who we serve, perfect timing for the cold that’s arriving.

A wonderful example of using your gifts to bless those in need.

Again, thanks.

Here again is an amazing way that people are getting involved with CCO.  Local crafty people are using their gifts to create interesting homemade items and selling them in a market, and the proceeds are benefiting the shelter.  Click on the image to go to their site.

We are still working on the elevator goal here at the Cornerstone Community Outreach. Our homeless population consists mostly of elderly and young families with young children. We have many strollers that need to hand lifted up and down the stair well.
