Our Family Shelters

CCO FamilySince 1989, Cornerstone Community Outreach

has sheltered over 25,000 individuals.

Hannah House
Our Hannah House program shelters 55 women with children and
a small number of couples with children. Hannah House is located in an
accessible building. Rooms on the first floor and a passenger elevator
allow clients with mobility issues to gain entry to shelter space.
Our longest-running shelter program, Hannah House has been in
operation since 1989 and has enabled hundreds of families to move
from homelessness to stable housing.

Sylvia Center
Sylvia Family Shelter serves over 160 women with children, men
with children, inter-generational families and couples with children. It is difficult for single fathers to remain with their children when homeless, as there are very few programs
providing emergency shelter to this population. Two-parent and inter-generational families are often split up as well, because adult men are often not allowed to stay in most
family shelters. Sylvia Center is proud to support these families
and give shelter and services to fathers as well as mothers with
children.

Leland Permanent Supportive Housing
Leland House Permanent Housing Program offers permanent
housing to 18 families. Leland House offers 2- or 3-bedroom
apartments and provide supportive services to residents, giving them tools to build a
more stable future for themselves and their children. This program
supports families whose needs go beyond the attainment of affordable
housing.
