Beacon The Bear & Bears In Blue

Beacon the Bear and the Bears in Blue Foundation teamed up to encourage and bless the children of CCO! The aim of these great not-for-profit organizations is to supply free teddy bears to small children in crisis situations. The organization didn’t stop there! They gave out gifts to the children, clothing items, treats, played basketball and two lucky families won tickets to a Chicago Bears football game! Thanks for a great event!

Holiday Parties for our Single Residents!

Christmas 2012 mens2_cmas2012

We can’t forget about our single shelter residents at this time of year! It can be especially challenging to be on your own for the holidays. That’s why CCO, along with our generous volunteers and donors, have had several great events for the residents of our Naomi House and Epworth shelter programs. We want to thank Elkgrove Calvary Chapel for serving delicious holiday treats while passing out new backpacks, socks and winter wear for our single shelter residents! Thank you!

Happy Holidays!

Christmas Family Portrait

Did you know? Last month, CCO served approximately 9,400 meals to our residents. Our dining room is bustling with activity each and every day.

With the holiday approaching several church and civic groups will be serving holiday meals. We are grateful for the nourishment, encouragement and personal touch that each group brings.

The Holiday Season is Here!
