The Living News : Shelter at CCO!

The Living News : Shelter/ Chicago has been a huge success! The Living News : Shelter is a play that explores how media handles homeless issues. It digs deep into the homeless experience and discusses barriers to housing, prejudice, and factors that contribute to homelessness.

On Monday, April 28, the actors performed in the CCO dining room for shelter guests, staff and friends in the Uptown area. Among those attending The Living News was 46th Ward Alderman James Cappleman. Tuesday April 29, the play was presented at the Cultural Center in downtown Chicago. A panel discussion followed.
