The Holiday Season should be a special time for everyone. At CCO we try to make the holidays bright for each person. You are an important part of that effort. There are a variety of ways you can be a blessing to our shelter guests. Donate new unwrapped toys or gift items for those staying in one of our family shelter, donate funds for a Christmas party in the single men’s or women’s shelter program, or organize your church or civic group to provide a holiday meal. We work extra hard this time of year to make everyone at CCO feel special and cared for.
Join us this holiday season in making Christmas bright for our shelter guests. If you have questions contact Eve at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!

Every day at CCO, we are privileged to see mothers persevering against the odds, diligently working to secure housing and moving closer to a better life for their families.
On this special holiday, please consider making a financial donation that will help moms and their families get one step closer to a stable home. Join us as we provide safe shelter, nutritious meals and critical case management services to over 65 mothers living on our programs. Thank you!
CCO staff, donors and volunteers work long and hard to make the holidays special for our shelter guests. That includes families with children and single men and women. Help us make the holidays bright! Monetary donations go a long way in filling the gaps in gift and goods donated to CCO.
Please consider making a donation today. Thank you!
Christmas is around the corner! We are looking forward to celebrating the holidays with all our shelter guests. With over 100 children and many parents and single adults it takes a lot of effort to make the holidays shine.
Please consider donating today. Your contribution will make a difference in the day to day lives of homeless families and it will make the holidays a little brighter.
It is our privileged to shelter homeless veterans every night but once a year we go all out to honor our veterans at the CCO Veteran’s Day Dinner.
This year, 92 year old Tuskegee Airmen, Virgil M. Poole Sr. graced us with his presence and words of encouragement. Our veterans were honored with a delicious soul food meal and music provided by Pierre & Louise Walker of St. Sabina Church. All of CCO’s shelter guests enjoyed the meal and festivities but a few tables were set up and decorated especially for our veterans.
This week is Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Take a moment to consider the men and women who served the United States in the armed forces. Many of these men and women are homeless and in need of safe shelter and supportive services. We have had the joy of seeing veterans stabilize their lives and move into permanent housing. Become a part of the good things that are happening at CCO. Volunteer or donate today.
The 2013 CCO Fall Frenzy was fabulous! Our families with children had a great time! We want to say a special thank you to all our staff and volunteers who made the event possible and Nathan Cameron for taking portraits during the Frenzy! Check out the photo album to see some of the fun…

At Cornerstone Community Outreach (CCO) we are grateful for the opportunity to serve and witness the successes of many dedicated dads. Your donation allows us to continue to support the fathers who work so hard to stabilize their families.
For me, being a dad is about hearing my son say, “I love you” in the morning, and saying it again at bedtime. When I lost my wife, I could have given him to someone else, but he’s a part of me. When he tells me he loves me, I know I’m doing the right thing.
Being a dad is hard work. Anyone can be a dad, but it takes a real man to be there for your kids and take care of them. Every day, I try to give him what I felt I missed in my own life. Being his dad gives me joy, strength and hope for a better day.
This Father’s Day honor the dads at CCO by making a donation that will help bring their families one step closer to permanent housing. Thank you!
